F1 has been shown on HD before by many other broadcasters as well but then to be really honest, that has just been a better version of standard definition itself. This time round collaborating with F1, Sky is all set to get the real action in actual HD; that is the sporting event will be shot in HD, using advanced cameras.

Ecclestone had stated not long ago to Autosport that once the broadcasters are really ready to go totally HD and in full throttle at that, he wouldn’t have any issues in collaborating with them. 3D WORLD OF TOMORROW

3D is definitely going to be a much bigger player tomorrow. The format has taken to the fascination of everyone. The TV makers as well as leading broadcasters’ simple swear by the format and think that in the long run, 3D TV sets will reach every single household.
